IT ALL STARTED WITH A CHICKEN FARM

We started in 2016, offering on the job training, for 7 young women, at a small hair salon.

Now, the Empowerment Program at ourhas evolved into a comprehensive, holistic transformational program focused on wellness, vocational education, and life skills.

We build a bridge at the 10,000 Lights Women's Center, in Kampala, Uganda, for survivors of CSE to live autonomously and free as they Heal, Transform and are Empowered. 

  • Our wellness tract supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of young women, who have been affected by commercial sex exploitation (CSE)

  • 10KLWC Vocational Education prepares participants for entry level jobs in their field of study.

  • Women are empowered, when they are confident, know their value and are in control of their lives.
