Amilia’s Light exists to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of young women, who have been affected by the commercial sex trade, prostitution, and trafficking, and to address prevention in our local communities.

You don’t have to travel to change a life. As a virtual volunteer with our small nonprofit, you can help survivors of sex trafficking in Uganda, and support prevention efforts in Uganda and Massachusetts.
We’re dedicated to helping survivors rebuild their lives with dignity, confidence, and the tools to become self-sustaining. Through mentorship, skills-building, and advocacy, we create lasting change.
We also shine a light on the global crisis of human trafficking — raising awareness and equipping communities with the knowledge they need to stay safe.
To date, we’ve supported over 150 young women and we’re still in contact with many of them. This year, we’d like to launch a mentorship program to help our alumni not just survive, but truly thrive. With your help, we can make that change.

Whether you’re helping us spread awareness, or providing remote admin or creative support, or helping man our information booth at a local fare, your involvement helps us empower survivors and their children to build brighter futures.
We're looking for several general volunteers (admins), content writers, and social media gurus to spread the work around!
We also have an exciting opportunity for college students with leadership skills to become involved with the Youth Ambassadorship and Mentorship Programs.
Perhaps you just want to plug in numbers, or write thank you's. Maybe, you love to post on social - do it for a great cause!

Office Administrator/s
These volunteers will keep our contacts updated in our donor management and email platforms, update and work with our Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace documents. Follow up with phone calls, needed admin tasks.
Several volunteers can break up the work - includes calls, scheduling, document filing. Virtual , and in person on occasion, if local.

Bookkeeper
Are you a numbers person?
We are looking for a bookkeeper to manage our online accounts , send wire transfers and help prepare annual reports and tax filings.
Approx 4 hours/month. Added 6 hours at year end.
